The Seattle Mariners will have a strong presence at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, with Bryan Woo, AndrĂ©s Muñoz, and Julio RodrĂguez officially named as American League reserves on Sunday. The trio joins starting catcher Cal Raleigh, bringing Seattleâs total to four All-Starsâthe franchise’s highest total since 2018.
Bryan Woo, 25, earns his first career All-Star selection behind a standout first half. The right-hander boasts an 8-4 record, a 2.77 ERA, 104 strikeouts, and just 19 walks. He is one of only two pitchers in MLBâalongside Detroitâs Tarik Skubalâto post a sub-3.00 ERA with 100+ strikeouts and 20-or-fewer walks so far this season.
AndrĂ©s Muñoz, 26, receives his second straight All-Star nod after a dominant campaign as Seattleâs closer. He owns a 3-1 record, 20 saves, and a 1.09 ERA over 34 appearances, while holding hitters to a .136 average and posting a 0.85 WHIP. Muñoz opened the season with 23 â consecutive scoreless innings, the longest such streak to start a season in franchise history. He was named AL Reliever of the Month for March/April and is now the second Mariners reliever to earn multiple All-Star selections, joining Kazuhiro Sasaki (2001â2002). Heâs also just the fifth pitcher in Mariners history with multiple All-Star appearances, alongside Sasaki, FĂ©lix HernĂĄndez (6), Randy Johnson (5), and Freddy GarcĂa (2).
Julio RodrĂguez, 24, makes his third All-Star appearance and continues to shine as one of the leagueâs premier center fielders. RodrĂguez has a .247 average, 11 home runs, and 15 stolen bases, while ranking second among AL outfielders with a 3.4 WAR (trailing only Aaron Judge). He also leads all AL center fielders with 12 defensive runs saved, tied for the most in the league.
This is the first time in Mariners history the club has had four All-Stars aged 28 or younger: Raleigh (28), Muñoz (26), Woo (25), and RodrĂguez (24). The last time Seattle had four All-Stars was in 2018, when Nelson Cruz, Mitch Haniger, Jean Segura, and Edwin DĂaz represented the team.
With youth, balance, and star power across multiple positions, the Marinersâ 2025 All-Star contingent reflects a franchise trending upwardâand a core built for sustained success.
