
Pramod Bhagat Wins Three Gold Medals at Abia Para Badminton International
Indian para-badminton star Pramod Bhagat has once again demonstrated his dominance on the international stage by winning three gold medals at the Abia Para Badminton International 2025. The multiple-time world champion and Paralympic gold medallist delivered an outstanding all-round performance, reaffirming his status as one of India’s greatest para-athletes.
Bhagat clinched titles in Men’s Singles SL3, Men’s Doubles SL3-SL4, and Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5, showcasing exceptional skill, consistency, and determination throughout the tournament. In the singles category, he defeated Indonesia’s Ukun Rukaendi in straight sets with a commanding performance, using his trademark agility and tactical brilliance to dominate the rallies.
In the doubles events, Bhagat partnered with Manoj Sarkar in the men’s doubles and Manasi Joshi in the mixed doubles — both partnerships proving to be formidable. The Indian duo outclassed their international opponents with excellent coordination and aggressive play, sealing gold medals in both categories.
