
The Honda RVF400 NC35 is back, and it’s making waves in the superbike community with a modern twist on a legendary classic. Originally introduced in the mid-1990s, the RVF400 was celebrated for its lightweight agility, precision handling, and race-inspired engineering. Now, Honda has revived this iconic machine, fusing its nostalgic 90s charm with cutting-edge technology and performance upgrades designed for today’s riders.
At first glance, the 2025 RVF400 retains the signature twin-spar aluminum frame and aggressive fairing design that made its predecessor a fan favorite. However, subtle refinements give it a sleeker, sharper look. The LED headlamps and tail lights replace the traditional halogens, while a new TFT digital display offers riders real-time data on speed, gear position, riding modes, and connectivity features. Honda has preserved the aerodynamic silhouette that defined the NC35, but integrated modern materials for improved rigidity and weight reduction.
Under the fairings, the heart of the beast has evolved. The RVF400 now boasts a re-engineered 399cc V4 engine, tuned to meet modern emission standards without sacrificing its exhilarating character. Honda claims the power delivery remains smooth and responsive, delivering around 60 horsepower, making it a perfect blend of performance and practicality for both track enthusiasts and spirited road riders.
